The department head of Chemical Machinery and Safety, Yihui Zhou, made an online Introductory Course for 2019 engineering students of DLI at 10 a.m. on May 27th. The theme of the lecture is " The pillars of great power and the foundation of people's livelihood – History and Development of Mechanical Engineering. Dean Jingjing Zhan presided over the meeting.

Deputy Dean Zhou first made a detailed interpretation of the professional connotation of engineering speciality and emphasized the importance of the engineering industry to national development and social life. Then Mrs Zhou introduced the development process of the major and a series of scientific research achievements made by the institution. Finally, she gave suggestions for the future development of the engineering students, hoping that students can firmly grasp the course, attach importance to the training of experimental ability, and comprehensively improve their general skills and professional quality.
