DLI students' excellent notes collection activities have been carried out in an orderly manner. The first batch of notes has recently been bound and collected in the Resource Room for students of related majors to research. Seventeen students shared their notes who come from three grades majoring in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry, with a total of 26 volumes.

On the afternoon of February 23, Zhan Jingjing, the Dean of DLI, presented some customized notebooks as rewards to the students who shared their study notes. Zhan Jingjing shared his experience of studying in the United States and his thoughts on the value of taking and sharing notes. He spoke highly of the students' notes and encouraged them to take notes persistently and be introspective while practising and being steadfast and ambitious.

Professor Zhan Jingjing motivated DLIers to cultivate the habit of taking notes and form a knowledge network. It is the best way to develop the temperament of independent thinking, truth-seeking, and innovation. It will be double-win. Students are also encouraged to record their studies with pens and paper and complete their tasks with heart. Under the active publicity and encouragement of all grades' student advisors, they actively participated in this activity. Even though DLIers could not return to campus due to the impact of the COVID-19 epidemic in spring semester 2020, 17 students shared the study notes of their major courses in different ways. Students can share the notes of one course and share some specific sections of their notes.

Moreover, they could share any versions they want, such as the original version, the printed version or the digital version. The original notes will be reserved carefully and originally. If students want to have their notes again, the institute will mail the notes back to them. The printed version will be reserved and attached a cover printed the institute's logo. As for the digital version, the notes will be collected in the computers at the Resource Room.

The students who share their notes had written their name, grade, major and feelings on cards in memory of this activity. They will also get a notebook customized by Leicester International Institute as a reward.

Notes are the collection of all our idea and understanding of what we learn. In addition, taking notes can be a very effective way to get a command of knowledge. So, all the students should make their unique and meaningful notes with a sincere attitude.
