From October 27 to 29, Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology (DLI) encourage all the staff members to participate in the 2021 college foreign affairs training session which aims to improve political and theoretical literacy, global vision and professional work level. This session was jointly held by the introduction of the foreign intelligence branch of the China Association of Higher Education and Dalian University of Technology (DUT).

The 3-day-training session covers the specialized reports by experts and scholars from relevant fields in universities at home and abroad, as well as the practice and thinking of internationalization in the era of the epidemic. In the group discussion session, each group carried out research and discussion on the topics of introducing talents, disseminating the Chinese voice, international scientific research cooperation, working plan of implementing students "going abroad" and "studying in" and students' pre-trip training of "safe study abroad".

The training provides a channel for DLI staff of exchanging foreign affairs management under the new situation, and enhance the friendship of mutual exchange and mutual learning with other universities. Internationalization in the new era has new characteristics, new challenges and new tasks. Actively learning new ideas, new strategies and new methods will help us better serve teachers and students and create the characteristics of Sino-foreign cooperation school.
