The China Education Expo (CEE) (Guangzhou) was held at the Guangzhou Yuexiu International Congress Center, on Oct. 27, 2007. Tan Zhenquan and Zhao Lingling, Deputy Dean of DLI, Skyla Zhao, Programme Administrator of the University of Leicester (UoL) in DLI, and Gao Ya, DLI Secretary of Foreign Affairs attended the exhibition.

CEE is widely recognized as a major publicity channel for universities at home and abroad. This year's exhibition was held in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai, attracting more than one hundred colleges and universities from the U.S., Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, Spain, Japan, Singapore and New Zealand, etc. Besides, CEE provides an international and specialized channel of communicating and outreaching for Sion-foreign cooperative schools. So, it attracts Shenzhen MSU-BIT University, Sino-French Engineer School of Beihang University, Leicester international institute, Dalian University of Technology, Faculty of International Media (ICUC), etc, and education-related government institutions, social organizations and enterprises.

During the exhibition, the DLI staff communicated with the visiting universities, organizations and students and parents on the DLI general information such as programmes that teach in English by the teacher in China and UK, institute characteristics and students’ achievements.

In the future, DLI will continue to strive to cultivate high-level talents with an international perspective to meet the needs of social development and industry.
