第一场：World-leading Research in the Design of Smart Polymers世界领先的智能聚合物设计的研究

主讲人简介：

卡尔·克里姆博士是莱斯特大学化学系有机化学与计算化学副教授，也是化学生物小组成员。克里姆副教授分别于1990年与1995年在英国埃塞克斯大学获得学士与博士学位。在英国克兰菲尔德大学做了15年的研究学者之后于2013年加入莱斯特大学化学系。克里姆副教授因其在合成受体的计算设计方面的工作而获得国际认可，并在临床、环境和食品应用领域的传感器和诊断领域的分子印迹聚合物(MIPs)设计方面发表了60多篇论文。他目前的研究兴趣是诊断和治疗应用的纳米颗粒的预测设计。

Dr. Kal Karim is an associate Professor of organic and computational Chemistry and a member of the Chemical Biology Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Leicester. He received his B.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Essex in 1990 and 1995, respectively. He joined the Department of Chemistry at the University of Leicester in 2013 after spending 15 years as a research fellow at Cranfield University in the UK. Associate Professor Krim is internationally recognized for his work on the computational design of synthetic receptors and has published more than 60 papers on the design of molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) for sensors and diagnostics in clinical, environmental and food applications. His current research interests are the predictive design of nanoparticles for diagnostic and therapeutic applications.

第二场：Emerging Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Healthcare医疗领域新兴的人工智能技术

主讲人简介：

周挥宇教授，英国莱斯特大学计算与数学科学学院，分别获得中国华中科技大学无线电技术工程学士学位和英国邓迪大学生物医学工程理学硕士学位。他获得了英国爱丁堡赫瑞瓦特大学的计算机视觉哲学博士学位。周博士目前是英国莱斯特大学计算与数学科学学院的正教授。他曾获得"CVIU 2012年最佳论文奖"，"MIUA 2020年最佳论文奖"，"ICPRAM 2016年最佳论文奖"。

Prof. Huiyu Zhou has a Bachelor degree of Engineering in Radio Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China, and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Dundee of United Kingdom, respectively. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Prof. Huiyu Zhou currently is a full Professor at School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has published over 400 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He was the recipient of "CVIU 2012 Most Cited Paper Award ", “MIUA 2020 Best Paper Award”, “ICPRAM 2016 Best Paper Award”. His research work has been or is being supported by UK EPSRC, ESRC, AHRC, MRC, EU, Royal Society, Leverhulme Trust, Puffin Trust, Alzheimer’s Research UK, Invest NI and industry.

第三场：Digital Twin of Advanced Ceramics Manufacturing先进陶瓷制造业的数字孪生

潘敬哲教授，大连理工大学莱斯特国际学院英方院长，2010——2020年任材料力学研究组组长；2016–2019年任工程部副/临时部长；2011–2015年任科学与工程学院研究主任；2006年至今任莱斯特大学材料力学教授。1994——2006年，任萨里大学机械工程系副教授；1991——1994年，任剑桥大学工程系博士后研究员。

研究方向：先进陶瓷烧结的数字孪生体研究、生物可吸收医用植入物的虚拟设计。
