At 18:00 on December 6^th, Leicester International Institute held the party called “It Is You That Accompany Me In DLI ” in E03 hall. Faculties and students all came here, together with Professor Pan Jingzhe and professors in Leicester. They also joined us through the live-streaming system.

British side teachers, accompanied by greeting videos from British teachers, the living theatre Music Sound, original song DLI, dance performance cute totter and the ping opera called Take seal to persuade Guangqing and so on. Teachers and students interacted on the Internet. There were also some other performances like orchestra concert, creative dance and songs mix. Students and faculties all took active parts in games like Sound Hound and musical chair. Then, all the participants sang the song We Are Young. The party ended up with applause and cheers. Great distance and cold wind can not resist the students’ passion and bright their college life with youth and validity.  

British teachers watched the live streaming, and they took part in lottery and game sections actively. They prepared surprise programs for their students. They expressed their missing though the Internet. The party has shown the interaction between Chinese and British culture, the energy and creation of students and faculties in our institution and the promotion of communication between students and faculties.
