On the morning of March 24th, the Job Fair for the 2021 Graduates from Five Universities in Northeast China was held in E02. Nearly 70 companies from all over the country gathered in DUT with more than 1,000 jobs to recruiting. DLI and the School of Life Science and Pharmacy jointly organized this meeting.

Accompanied by the leaders of various Schools and functional departments, Guo Jinming, Assistant President of DUT, Secretary of the Party Committee in Panjin Campus and Director of Management Committee of Panjin Campus, Yu Haichen, Director of Admissions and Employment Division of DUT, Qu Changsheng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Panjin Campus, Deputy Director of the Management Committee and Director of the Party and Government officials went to the job fair to guide the employment work. Guo Jinming extended a warm welcome to the participating companies, and cordially exchanged views with company representatives to understand the development of companies and the demand for talents.

The attending enterprises include Ansteel Group Corporation, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd., China Ordnance Industry Group Co., Ltd., Sany Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd., Jiahua Chemicals Inc., etc... Both state-owned enterprises and private enterprises were attended, which involve hiring directions from multiple areas. About four hundred students were participated in this job fair, in addition to 2021 graduates, many students came to learn.

The recruitment Manager of Sany Heavy Equipment said that they pay more attention to the moral quality of graduates, and hope to put the right person into the right post. The recruitment Manager of Ansteel Group Corporation said that they place a high value on the sense of responsibility of graduates, and they should have the quality of bear hardships and stand hard work. All employees should be trained at the basic level when they enter the Ansteel Group Corporation.

Student Wang, a 2021 graduate of DUT, said that this job fair provides students with a face-to-face communication channel with companies, which helps graduates to have a better understanding of the job market and seek employment opportunities. While choosing a job, she hopes to engage in professional-related work and exert her professional strength.

This job fair has set up a favourable communication and interaction platform for both the employers and the graduates and promoted the employment of 2021 graduates effectively. During the job fair, some graduates have reached their employment intentions with the companies. Some employers and graduates are still in further communication and negotiation. Recently, more graduates will complete their signing procedures. In the future, DUT will continue to expand employment channels for graduates, continue to improve the employment service platform, and strive to promote full and higher-quality employment for 2021 graduates.
