DLI has held an experience sharing meeting regarding the doctor recommended to the University of Leicester (UoL) at C07-401 classroom on April 21^st. This activity invited Ms Gao, the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of DLI and Li Peitong, a Mechanical Engineering 2021 graduate who has successfully applied for PhD of UoL to share their experience, suggestions and answered questions from students.

First of all, Ms Gao introduced the details of the PhD. program which includes the title, duration, funding and qualifications. Besides, she also focuses on the importance of science innovation experience and improving English ability in four-year studying. At last, she gave suggestions from her aspect and conveyed the other three successful candidates’ advice to all the students.   

Then, Li explained comprehensively the tips of obtaining a PhD offer from UOL. In addition, he analyzed the choice of graduation as well as the subject selection of undergraduates from different perspectives. At the same time, he presented the idea that the experience of participating the science research is significant which makes the interview more outstanding. Furthermore, opinions, which aim at the success of science research, were proposed.

Through this experience sharing meeting, the students attended had a clearer understanding of their future path. "DLI support" activity is still going on. Welcome to pay attention to the series of activities.
