From August 28th to September 1st, the international students of Class of 2023 came to DUT, and began their life and study in DUT.

This year is the first time after the pandemic that we have the offline orientation. School of International Education warmheartedly helped the new students in completing the procedures of information collection, accommodation application, insurance purchase, tuition fee payment, students registration and some other procedures. Orientation materials were also distributed to help the students to adapt to campus life quickly.

From September 4th to 12th, DUT will hold a series of theme activities for the students to get used to the campus life. The theme activities include visiting the campus, icebreaking activity, and academic guidance.

DUT has been receiving international students since 1956. We firmly adhere to the opening-up strategy, and concentrate on educating international talents that are willing to take the social responsibilities and understand Chinese culture. Up to now, DUT has more than 10 thousand international students from more than 110 countries.
