On 25 November, the University of Leicester(UoL) held an online training session which focuses on "Teaching, Evaluation and Examination" and was directed by Pan Jingzhe, Dean of DLI. This regular training session will be held every semester. All the staff on the DLI side attend this session. It is an opportunity to provide an international view  and help them have a deeper understanding of the training trope, teaching mode and evaluating method of UoL.

Beginning with the undergraduate training plan and education target of UoL, Professor Jingzhe Pan gave a detailed account of the undergraduate curriculum, teaching characteristics and other teaching-related policies in UoL, analyzed the difference between the two universities in teaching theory and education mode in detail. Pan also focuses on the evaluation process, evaluation standard, double marking requirement, mark confirmation, the principle of promotion and relegation of UoL, especially on the treatment of various situations in the evaluation process. UoL has specialized many organizations like the Committee on text, the Committee on upgrade and delayed exam, the Committee on plagiarizing and the Committee on appeal, dealing with special situations fairly according to the regulations. At last, Pan had an in-depth exchange with the participating teachers on the practical courses.

DUT staff know more about the UoL teaching regulation, policies, curriculum and teaching model through this training session. They will strictly abide by the teaching requirements and make full use of the high-quality education resources of the two universities, and consequently cultivate excellent international talents.
