The 2022 World Junior Badminton Championships came to a close on Oct 31, with China finishing with three titles and two runners-up finishes, making it the biggest winner among all the participating teams. Among them, Liu Shengshu, a 2022 student majoring in athletic training at DUT's school of Kinesiology and Health Promotion, won two gold medals for China, in the women's doubles and mixed doubles.

In recent years, the school of Kinesiology and Health Promotion has attached great importance to the construction of sports teams and achieved several breakthrough achievements through scientific training and target assessment. The prizes are listed: the 24th University Basketball Championship National Women's Basketball Finals Top 16, the National Men's Basketball Finals Top 24, the 25th National University Tennis Championship National Finals Group A Team Champion, the 14th National Student Games University Women's Group A Discus Champion All honours have continuously ignited the passion of DUT.

The sporting competition will never end and the spirit of DUT will live on!Let's expect our athletes, represented by Liu Shengshu, to climb to the top in the next tournament!
