DLI role models-Chen Tianying, Qi Miao'er and Xing Chenghao

Chen Tianying, a masses is a 2020 undergraduate majoring in Mathematics. He ranked third among 105 students with a weighted average score of 93.68 in the 2021-2022 academic year. He won the prize of All-round Good Student (school level), Learning Excellence Award (two consecutive years), and the Third Prize in the 8th  “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition and other awards.

He not only focuses on extending professional knowledge but also insists on practising what he has learned. On his last summer vacation, he went to Shanghai Huawei Limited Company for the internship and completed the task using the professional knowledge he has learned. Besides, he is also enthusiastic about students’ work including serving in the class and dormitory and being a deputy director of the Students’ Union office in DLI. He said that all this work enable him an enriching and happy campus life.

 

Qi Miao’er, a probationary Party member, is a junior undergraduate student majoring in Mechanical Engineering. She ranked ninth among 102 students with a weighted average score of 91.12 in the 2021-2022 academic year. She won the National Scholarship, the Learning Excellence Award, the Cultural and Sports Activities Award, the Ethic Award, All-round Good Student (school level), and Excellent CYL  members.

She served as the organiser of CYL the deputy director of the Cultural Department of the campus Students’ Union and the leader of the campus host team. In these activities, she bears her responsibilities and made an outstanding performance, which was unanimously recognized by teachers and classmates. Besides that, she participated in various cultural and sports competitions and digital model competitions to improve her cultural and scientific research literacy. Adhering to the original aspiration, she devoted herself to joining various volunteer activities to improving abilities and skills.


Xing Chenghao is a probationary Party member who comes from the Mechanical Engineering Class of 2020. He won the prize of All-round Good Student (school level) for two consecutive years,  Learning Excellence Award, the Ethic Award and the Community Contribution Award.

 

He is diligent and strict in his studies and keeps first in performance. Serving as the monitor of the Engineering Class of 2001, he encourages classmates to join in various campus activities. He strives for making progress in scientific research and published essays and conference papers on SCI and EI. In social practice work, he participated in and organized multiple enterprise visits and CPC activities.
