Leicester International Institute, Dalian University of Technology(DLI) encourages students to join in the international programmes and supports them through setting up the scholarships of overseas study tour. More than 30% of DLI students have overseas studying experience. Sixteen DLIers were selected and detached to participate in the international exchange activities at Zhejiang University, Haining Campus and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China,  Glasgow College, etc. Moreover, 133 students attended the summer and winter camp and had classes with students at Imperial College London and University of Leicester, etc. It enabled them to build up friendly relationships with students overseas and enjoy and share the resources. DLI promotes the project of “international friendship” of DUT. The activity of 20 to 30 students from University of Leicester exchange to DLI, which is planned to be held in April 2020, was postponed due to the impact of the epidemic.
