On the purpose of helping students to make a good preparation for career and academic plans in the future, DLI organized a series of support salons that focus on sharing the experience of applying offers from universities abroad and the PhD program at the University of Leicester (UoL), preparing to attend the postgraduate examination, choosing an appropriate summer camp for extending ability and obtaining employment. Some DLI graduates and teachers who are professional in the mentioned aspects were invited.

The studying abroad salon was divided into four parts which include the universities of Europe especially the PhD program in UoL, North American and Asia and Austria. The invited graduates introduced the details of their application process and provided their advice to the attended students. While teachers emphasized suggestions of how to deal with the difficulties resulting from the different culture and how to adapt to the different living habit by sharing their personal studying experience.

Successful graduates admitted to the brilliant universities in China shared their suggestion and experience with students in need. They encouraged students to obtain a high score for their modules and grasp the opportunity to attend science and technology innovation project with teachers. These are the footstone for further studying.

Besides, some of the graduates would like to work in Chinese government departments by attending the official examinations. Among the DLI graduates in 2017, there is a group of students who got excellent results in this process and they were invited to share their experience from different aspects.

DLI always give priority to the studying experience and eager to provide more chances and opportunities for students to pursue their career and academic paths.
